I love making slow cooked chili and chicken noodle soup in the slow cooker. My old crockpot is getting up there in years and is consistently running hot on the low setting. This Hamilton Beach slow cooker cooks at the right temperature when on low. I love the ability to lock the lid and take it on the go. And it is not an eyesore in the kitchen!
Was initially a bit skeptical of using a slow-cooker.....but was pleasantly surprised. This product is very easy to use with its 3 settings....is of good size for making delicious chili, chicken soup and a beef stew....nice to set in morning on "low" and when return from work....juicy and tender. Love the ability to lock cover for transport to holiday parties...and it does have easy cleanup with removable ceramic insert. Buy it...you'll be pleased!
I’m really enjoying the Stay or Go 6 quart slow cooker! Having the lid that seals and locks for travel has come in very handy. It heats up well and maintains temperature. I was able to make a chicken and vegetable soup and deliver it safely to my destination. The soup was delicious! Next up, a pork roast with apples and vegetables for the family. I look forward to using the slow cooker a lot in the next several weeks for colder weather cooking. It’s so convenient to set it and know we will have a hot, yummy meal waiting for us in a few hours.
Coming from a very small round crockpot, this one is souch better. I made some ribs and they turned out so good. Cant wait to make more foods in this crockpot. This will work great for Thanksgiving to take some ham to familys house,with the take and go. Now I won't have to worry about it spilling since the lid clamps down. It will be great.
I am a crock pot foodie so when I got this Hamilton Beach 6qt Stay or Go slow cooker I was over the moon. First day I received it, I made a pot of Stuffed Pepper Soup and it was perfect. I love the assortment of setting on this unit from off to warm, medium or high. The easy to grasp handles are the perfect size to lift this crock pot and best of all, you can lock the lid down so there's no spill! This is perfect! The crock pot insert is deep, it holds 6 quarts, It's heavy yet easy to clean. You can remove it for your food storage or just to wash it out. It is dishwasher safe but I prefer to hand wash it. The knob on the top of the lid is easy to remove and stir your meal or just check on the cooking process. Absolutely thrilled with this Hamilton Beach crock pot and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quality unit.
