I have been a Chemex only coffee drinker for years. Unable to find a good cup of coffee in an electric drip machine, I had pretty much given up on coffee makers. I started seeing great reviews on this machine and decided to give it a try. Very happy I did! I live at altitude so I can’t use the gold setting but following instructions for altitude and playing around with my coffee strength, I have found a perfect cup of coffee. I still enjoy the Chemex ritual, but now my coffee is already made when I get up on a work day
The only thing that I would say is that the carafe is very fragile and can brake. I did go ahead and get the stainless steel carafe also.
My Cafe coffeemaker is great! It's quiet, it's quick, and the coffee is perfectly brewed to my taste. A bonus is the ease of cleaning it. It's a 5-star purchase, for sure!

This coffee maker is fantastic! The coffee tastes amazing, brres quickly, stays hot! The adjustable temperature feature is a nice touch, but the best part of the machine is the Bluetooth connectivity. Simply connect your coffeemaker to your Alexa or Google huh and you can start coffee from anywhere. And set up a schedule to have fresh coffee every morning when you wake.
