If you have a house with kids this 4'x5'6" Washable Small Checkered Area Rug Gray by Room Essentials is a must have. The biggest pro of this area rug is it is machine washable!! The rug is very low pile so it’s super easy to vaccum. It does have a grip bottom similar to a bathroom rug. It stays in place and the kids can be rough on the rug and it’s durable. Highly recommend.

This rug could match with any decor in the house, especially with various neutrals! Can be a little slippery on hard flooring so I would recommend placing a non slip layer layer underneath. Vacuums easily on lower setting.

The size is great. I haven’t decided if I want it by the front door because it is washable and easy to clean or in a bedroom. It is light weight but still comfortable to sit or stand on. It is easy to clean and seems very quick drying too.

I am so impressed with this rug. When it came up with an offer I grabbed it thinking it probably isn't the right color but I'll make it work. Well not only is it the perfect color but it is non-slip which is a 10 in my book! Not only is it a great size but it looks perfect in my family room.
