I got this as an additional SCA Approved coffee maker and it surpassed my expectations. It feels solidly built and looks great, too. It is easy to prepare for brewing, doesn't drip when you pour, it's easy to clean and best of all it makes great coffee.
I’ve only had my coffee makes a few weeks. Only use it on the week ends and so far we love it. It was easy to set up and the coffee does taste lovely. Our old coffee pot was a Braun and well over 20 years old. And we can definitely taste the difference YUM!!!
I have been a Chemex only coffee drinker for years. Unable to find a good cup of coffee in an electric drip machine, I had pretty much given up on coffee makers. I started seeing great reviews on this machine and decided to give it a try. Very happy I did! I live at altitude so I can’t use the gold setting but following instructions for altitude and playing around with my coffee strength, I have found a perfect cup of coffee. I still enjoy the Chemex ritual, but now my coffee is already made when I get up on a work day
