I got this for Christmas about two months ago. I have been so impressed with battery life, I literally only take it off to shower and that's when I charge it. As a result I have only had to leave it plugged in beyond showering a couple times. I've also been surprised how much i enjoy the daily weekly and monthly goals/challenges. I really only wanted the gps tracking for runs and biking and tracking caloric burns, which the Venu 2S does great, but the added features of the Garmin Connect and the ability to add workout routines and even create your own is awesome. My wife also got the same watch at the same time I did and we enjoy comparing each others Body Battery and Sleep Score!
I bought this watch used from a friend of mine. She gave me a great deal. I wanted to get back into running and keeping up with my data for many reasons. A lot to do with my health. I have to say I’m very impressed with Garmin and the app. Venu2s is a great watch and running partner for someone getting back at it. I had been a de hard Fitbit for fitness and Apple Watch just bc I had an Apple phone. I definitely believe hands down my garmin is the most accurate of all 3. I wore my Fitbit and garmin the same day for my benchmark run the data from the garmin was very accurate to the feet traveled. My Fitbit was off about 2500 steps which is significantly different. Elevation documentation was also off My Apple Watch never had accurate data and it was very annoying All data is uploaded to my work app and we get a discount on our insurance if we collect enough points. I never came close with my Apple Watch. I’ve received more points from the data from my garmin Over all I’m very impressed. The only thing I wish venu2s had was interval running timer so you could set walk run
I bought this watch 4 months ago. At first I didn't like it because it was hard to read and went black really fast. Then I googled how to set it up, and now it works perfect. The only problem is the activities are not in Engish, but they do have symbols. I use it for walking and bicycling. I haven't been able to figure if there is a way to change the activities to English.
I’m old and don’t like to learn new things, but the Vivoactive 3 would no longer hold a charge through a slow long run. I dreaded having to learn all the new features for a different Garmin. But this watch is super intuitive and easy to connect. I LOVE this, and wish I had upgraded sooner!
I ordered my Venu 2S in August 2021. I wear it every single day, all day, and all night. To this day, it still holds a charge for a good 5-7 days unless I've started several activities. All the features still work flawlessly. My only complaint is that the watch band loops never cease to fail. This is my 4th Garmin, and every single loop on every model has broken after about a year. And I work an office job and exercise out of my home. So it's not like I'm out in the field or going on serious adventures or anything. You can purchase replacements easily, but it's pretty annoying to have to do so on such a high class (and high dollar) product. That said, I'm a Garmin loyal for life!
Best visibility yet with the Amlod face. Easy to use after actually wearing it; you just have to play with the buttons. Great for every day use at work & occasional workouts (I have a Forerunner for that). More sleep info, more included faces, & text reply is awesome. I triple checked that my nice rose gold metal band from my last watch would fit but it didn't. The only thing I don't like would be the Garmin app update!
