I bought the headset as an early birthday present for my grandson, who will be 25 and a graduate student. He told me that they were awesome.
So, this is my first time ever buying a high-priced piece of tech for myself. And I can say that after reading plenty of reviews to guarantee I want to buy this, it is about exactly how I expected it to be for the price. Now I can definitely get behind some of the lower end reviews about its quirks and issues, just today I got home and turned it on for it to be for whatever reason, broadcasting through the headphones, sounds it was picking up from my room. Like the fan and my mouse clicking. However, after restarting it, it was fine. But for the sound deadening, the sound quality and comfort for that matter, it's better than anything I have ever used for a Headset in my years of playing games. I do recommend if you are looking to buy this, only spend the money if you are going to take care of it.
This headset is sensational. As an active duty army soldier, noise cancelling products are a must for audio consumption. These get the job done flawlessly. Mic and audio quality are top tier and well worth the price. The customization on the app allows for tremendous features like noise cancelling, audio gate, mic sensitivity, and more. I needed something because my barracks roommates have fans and my gaming buds would get tired of hearing loud fans and chatter in the background with my old headset, and now they hear me crystal clear with minimal (if any) background noise. I highly reccomend this product to any service member who is living in barracks as well as any person looking for a versatile high audio quality headset. Also, the fact that it can be connected by Bluetooth to your phone and the game at the same time is revolutionary and allows for seamless phone calls with tremendous quality.
The mixer amp app is great. I tuned my headset to perfectly enhance the footstep audio in call of duty. My only problem, is that I can’t really hear my voice playback when I have it maxed out. I like to hear my voice in the headset, so I know how loud I’m talking. They are truly sound canceling.
