This shower filter has been super helpful. As someone with a chronic illness, my medications and treatments make me break out into rashes from a lot of things, including the minerals in hard water. This filter has helped SIGNIFICANTLY- I can enjoy showers again! It was an easy install, and changing filters is so simple. Only downside I've noticed is that as the filter gets old, it does drastically decrease the water pressure. This can be fixed to simply up keeping the change of the filters but when you haven't gotten the new one yet it can be a bit sad to have little to no water pressure. Overall, it's worth it for the relief I get from irritated skin.

**I HIGHLY recommend this shower filter!!** Don't waste your money on the shower filter competitors charging hundreds of dollars for a shower filter package; this one filters the same contaminants and leaves your hair silky and doesn't dry out your skin either. I'm a challenging consumer, too! I have an autoimmune disease that damages my oil and sweat glands so they don't work. I suffered through painful showers before this filter. Now i joy my showers and have been able to decrease the thickness of my lotion!
