We have a really sophisticated espresso machine at home, but my husband wanted one for his office (long hours, hosts lots of clients/meetings, etc) so he could top up at work. The Cuisinart Slim Espresso machine is exactly what he needed - space saving but still makes a quality drink. The machine itself is very attractive and minimalist. It's ultra narrow and fits with inches to spare under our cupboards at home (if that's a concern). It's got a large water reservoir and will fit a travel mug under the head! It was really easy to get started with drinks - maybe 20 mins of setup and rinsing? I'm struggling a bit with figuring out the milk frothing wand, but I'm sure we will get it in time. In short, this is the perfect machine if you are low on space and/or want a machine that will make a solid latte or iced coffee without all of the unnecessary bells and whistles of more costly machines.
