It seems to distribute heat very evenly, and I love that it can go directly to stovetop. This pan is quite large, so it might not be the best choice if you are only cooking for one or two people. Also, don't underestimate how heavy it is!
This is my second piece of enameled cast iron cookware, and I'm really happy with it! It does take longer to heat up than a standard metal skillet, but as long as you know what to expect it gives great results.

This works very well as a cast iron pan, perfect for cooking small beef steaks, but you need to take good care of it because it can get sticky easily and you need to clean it right away.
